Welcome Aboard!

  • Although volunteer responsibilities are quite demanding, our brief role as caretakers for the organization is immensely rewarding. The friendships, memories, and accomplishments will stay with us a lifetime. We are honored to serve.

  • As you can see from the list at the right, there are many volunteer needs to match your interests and availability. Please take a look at the various volunteer pages. You will find great descriptions of volunteer activities and photos documenting our fun!

  • Volunteers are needed year-round. Listed below, are examples of volunteer needs at various times throughout the year.

Immediately following the end of tour, vehicles and equipment need to be properly cleaned, recalibrated, and reconditioned.

Throughout the winter months, volunteers are needed at auditions and camps.

In the springtime, show-preparations require volunteers for flag sewing, uniform fitting, and equipment preparation.

In the summer, volunteers are needed on tour for food crew, souvenir sales, transportation, uniform alterations, equipment upkeep, and bookkeeping.

Madison's annual "Drums on Parade Corps Show" requires numerous volunteers in preparation for the show, during the show, and after the show.

Throughout the year, volunteers are needed on a continual basis for office administration, bookkeeping, public relations, fundraising, website and database maintenance, souvenir stocking, shipping, and sales tracking.

  • This is only the short-list of what a healthy organization needs from volunteers.
